Common Curriculum Grant Awardees for NEW COURSES

The Common Curriculum Committee+ (CCC+) is pleased to announce that the following faculty were awarded grants to create NEW COURSES for the Common Curriculum.

Timeline

  • Requests for new courses should be submitted in CourseLeaf (aka CIM) by September 1, 2026 in order for them to navigate the workflow in time. CCC+ needs to receive CARs by around mid-October 2026.
  • Courses must be fully approved by the University Senate before February 5, 2027 in order to be listed in the 2027-2028 catalog.
  • Courses should be taught for the first time in the 2027-2028 Academic Year.

Common Curriculum Grant Awardees for COURSE REVISIONS

The Common Curriculum Committee+ (CCC+) is pleased to announce that the following units were awarded grants to REVISE EXISTING COURSES for the Common Curriculum.

  • Kinesiology
    • KINS 1100 Exercise and Wellness for Everyone
  • Human Development and Family Sciences
    • HDFS 3530 Public Policy and the Family (TOI3, TOI5)
    • HDFS 3245 Aging in American Society (TOI3, TOI5)
    • HDFS 2120 Introduction to Programs for Young children (TOI2, TOI5)
    • HDFS 3102 Early and Middle Childhood Development (TOI2)
